Mpow universal Head up display

Mpow universal Head up display is very innovative product which is designed to help drivers. I always have problem in watching the navigation in mobile and concentrating on road like everyone else. Mpow HUD displays resolves this problem and helps me to concentrate on the road when I drive. The device is big enough to work with all my three phones (Galaxy S4, Nexus 5 and Nexus 5x).

The device sticks well in the dashboard and sticky part on the top holds the phone safely. I have been using the device close to 10 days and the sticky top portion still holds the phone. During day time, my car is parked in open parking (Tempurate goes up to 115°) and HUD display is not affected by the direct sun light.

The glass portion is very reflective and works great when the external lighting is low. During day time, the device is not reflecting the screen to my expectation even when the phone screen brightness is at maximum level. The reflection is not that good during the day time because the direct sun light falling on the car dashboard and mobile supress the reflection capability, hence the reflection is not that good. It works well during night time/low light with the mobile screen brightness set to maximum level but still the reflection is not crystal clear. Not all navigation application supports HUD mode now, hence the number of application which is compatible to this device is very limited.  

I should say this product is a unique and innovative product to assist drivers but at the same time it is not able to work well against direct sun light.

PYRUS Car Recorder 2.7" 1080P

PYRUS dashboard camera is well designed and works great. The 2.7” display is very impressive and the quality is awesome. Initial setup is very easy and requires very less effort to fit in the car. The rubber suction cup holds the dash board camera very well and holds the dashboard camera very safely. The image/video in the display is very crisp and clear with a good view of road. I tested this dashboard camera with a 4 GB class 10 micro SD card which worked as expected. I formatted the memory card before inserting into the dashboard camera. The dashboard camera does not comes with the micro SD card, so make sure you have the micro SD card to record photo/video from the dashboard camera.

New video files are created for every 3 minutes which takes around 400MB, so a 4 GB memory card holds video for around 30 minutes before it overwrites the first file. The quality of very video is good and I am able to read the other car number plates from the video. The device keeps overwriting the files in loop mode, so I do not have to worry about the memory left in the micro SD card. The power chord is very lengthy which makes it very convenient to use.  I recently used this during 7 hour long drive and it worked as expected. The integrated flash light does improve the quality of video displayed in screen/recorded in memory card. The best part is, the camera is rotated/titled which a unique feature of this dashboard camera is. It also comes with a standard USB cable to power which can be used to transfer files from memory card to computer/laptop. The dashboard camera can be also used to records video when the device is powered by standard USB cable.
